I have been casually programming websites and applications since i was 12; starting off trying to make something for my guild on the game conquer online.
Through out the years, i have been learning new tips and tricks, not for others, but from exploring new things. Now once in a while i will start to try and make a new website, and try new things each time so that each time, it gets improved and experience does not go to waste. Quite recently i have tried exploring the use of gradients, and images, but so far i fear that it has not worked(A Noobs World).
I specialize more with server scripting than anything else; before when i first began using them, i just wrote the code, but now things get more complicated, i use classes, and create functions for everything. I had finally brought in object oriented programming from CPP(C Plus Plus) into PHP, and i was proud to do so. Immediatly i began creating small but usefull functions that ended up saving lots of time, suchs as an function called checkTable, or deleteTable. Yes, very simple, but pratical to use.

There are many great free services that you may use, and since i am underage, i am quite experienced with finding freebies.
Hosting, i recomend using a host such as Free B Host.0lx.com.
When thinking about hosting large files such as videos, i think about using other services such as Youtube, it can save you a lot of money.
For an editor, Mac OS, i use Taco Editor. For Windows i use, HTML Builder Xp 5.6, or a program that you have to buy Rapid PHP 2007
Advertising, the main thing that i use to do so, is FaceBook all you have to do, is create a group, and get it big fast. Once you have a couple thousand members, you can spam them what ever you want, just not too often. |
